Wordpress site before moving them them to life you can develop the your Wordpress environment on your local machine. In that if you want to do the setup the permalink for your site in the local host, it will not update your setting it will show the default setting option in the permalink. If you want to change the url for Custom Structure are post name you not able to change if you change it Then it’s will automatically change to default setting in the permalink.
So how to solve this in your local host.
If have this problem with your local host, it can be solved this very easily by simple steps.Just go to Apache Server in the Wamp by click the Wamp button and its will open the popup in that select the Apache it will show the option in that you select the httpd.conf.
Now httpd.conf file will open in that you can press Ctrl + f to find this line in that file
#LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
After finding that line simple removes the # in the front of the file.like this
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
Now save the file.
Now you can change the permalink option, it will work on your local site.
